"Mirotin Tisa" Ltd. Savino Selo !

Artisanal mill of the first founder and owner German industrialist Mr. Mahner during 160 years of tradition has evolved into a modern mill for corn processing of high technical-technological level with modern equipment and top quality products with a capacity of processing 120 tons of corn in 24 hours.

After the Second World War the mill has changed several organizational units. Until the 1985. mill was processing only wheat. That same year, mill was reconstructed and redecorated for maize processing with the installation of Canadian equipment. Since this equipment was technically and technologically outdated for the new demands of the world market reconstruction was done in 2003, according to the requirements of modern technology and modern practices.

During the transition, the mill was privatized within the company MIROTIN LLC, and immediately separated from the system as a separate legal entity, MIROTIN-TISA Savino Selo, 2004.

Fundamental restructuring took place, with the introduction of modern equipment by Bühler's technology in order to keep pace with international companies, which deal with this activity. Monitoring the fat content of final products is done by NIRS method on INFRATEC 1241 of producer FOSS-Sweden. Checking the accuracy of the results of fat content in  brewers grits compared to the reference method by Soxhlet was investigated in the paper: »Comparison of The Reference Method and NIRS Baset Method for Determination of Fat Content in Corn Grits« and presented at the World Congress in San Francisco in September 2006. Complete monitoring of compliance with quality requirements of raw materials andalso of final products is in line with certificates regarding the quality system ISO9001 and ISO 22000 requirements of the system.
